One of Singapore’s largest luxury shopping malls, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands has no shortage of retail, entertainment and dining options for a luxe afternoon out. Natural sunlight illuminates the expansive open atriums through the stunning giant glass windows, making strolling through the mall an experience in itself.
The shopping mall is wheelchair accessible with wide pathways and multiple lifts on the premises. Travel to nearby wheelchair-friendly attractions like Gardens by the Bay and the ArtScience Museum is also convenient with the wheelchair accessible pathways, bridges and underpasses.

Wheelchairs are available for loan at the concierge counters at level 1 and 2 in Jewel, with a nominal refundable deposit. Alternatively, visitors can approach the Information and Service Counters at the Airport for complimentary wheelchair rentals. The Raffles Medical Centers located in Terminals 1-4 also provide wheelchair rentals for SGD$20 per hour.

As a bonus, a trip to Resorts World Sentosa and the S.E.A Aquarium is a breeze with the Sentosa Express Monorail (level 3) or the Sentosa Boardwalk.
Lifts and wide pathways allow wheelchair users access to all parts of the shopping mall and to Sentosa (via the monorail or boardwalk). There are also multiple designated handicap toilets for wheelchair users in the mall.

Visitors can travel to Funan Mall from City Hall MRT via the Funan underground pedestrian link. The underground pedestrian link also connects Funan Mall to the National Gallery – another fun, wheelchair-friendly and must-visit spot.
Complimentary wheelchair loaning services are available at the Customer Service Counter. Do note that a deposit of SGD$20 is required and the wheelchair has to be returned to the counter by 9pm on the same day.
