1. The Artground

The Artground is a not-for-profit, accessible art centre and indoor play space for children 12 and below.

Besides their Masak Masak themed free indoor play space (until 26 March 2023), The Artground also offers a variety of immersive theatre shows and performing arts programmes

Admission tickets for their events go live from 12pm – 2pm every Tuesday, for the following week.

The Artground welcomes visitors with limited mobility. The centre accommodates wheelchairs – there are 2 designated parking lots for visitors with limited mobility and suitable toilets are located on level 1 of blocks B, E and M. 

2. Esplanade – March On

March On, Esplanade’s annual arts festival for young audiences and their families will be taking place from 9 – 19 March 2023.

With a wide array of workshops, programmes and shows, March On 2023 aims to explore relevant issues for the young through multi-disciplinary programmes and participatory arts experiences.

Esplanade’s premises are wheelchair-friendly. Wheelchair accessible seating is also available at the venue. It is recommended to inform the Customer Experience team of wheelchair accessible seating requirements when booking tickets at the Box Office so arrangements can be made. The Customer Experience team is also contactable at 6828 8377 from 12pm to 6pm daily to make arrangements.

3. Concerts for Children: Journey Around the World

Go on a Journey Around the World with conductor Jessica Gethin and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

Celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity with this exciting show and explore the soundscapes of music from across the globe. Experience how people are united through the language of music. 

The show will be held on 18 and 19 March 2023 at the Victoria Concert Hall. For wheelchair users, the Concert Hall is wheelchair accessible in the Stalls area.

4. S.E.A Aquarium

One of the world’s largest aquariums, the S.E.A Aquarium is home to more than 100,000 marine animals across over 40 diverse habitats. Have some family-binding fun while learning about the world’s oceans through interactive programmes, up-close animal encounters and immersive learning journeys.

For wheelchair users, there is barrier-free accessibility and wheelchair friendly routes in the entire S.E.A Aquarium. Wheelchairs rentals are also available at Guest Services Counter 2 for a flat fee of SGD15 per day.

5. Science Centre

Take a science lesson outside the classroom during the March holidays.

Spend a day roaming around the Science Centre’s accessible and engaging experience. Or plan a day around one of their many science programmes and experiences.

The centre is wheelchair accessible – the entire centre is accessible by lift and there are apecially designed toilet cubicles with automated doors. Non-motorised wheelchairs are complimentary and available on a first-come-first-serve basis at the Visitor Services Centre.
