What happens after booking of hospital rental is done?

Once the booking is done, a delivery date and time will be confirmed. During the day of delivery, our team will liaise with the person-in-charge to confirm the delivery. 

Once our team reached the site of delivery, we will do a site assessment to ensure that there will be sufficient space for movement of the bed to the location where the hospital bed will be stationed. 

After the delivery is made, our professional team with medical background will go through the steps on to use to the hospital bed with the caregiver. This is to ensure that the bed will be used correctly to provide a safe environment for both the caregiver and the user.

Step-by-step: How to use a 3 function bed at home?

A motorised 3 function hospital bed allows user/ caregivers to adjust the:

1. Height of the entire bed
2. Height of the upper body of the user
3. Height of lower body of the user

The 3 functions can be done by pressing on specific buttons on the remote controller that is easily accessible.

Step1: Adjust the height of the entire bed

1. Push the bottom left button on the remote control to lift the entire bed
2. Press and hold until preferred height
3. Release when the bed is adjusted to the preferred height
4. Push the bottom right button on the remote control to lower the entire bed
5. Likewise, hold until preferred height and release

Step 2: Adjust the height of the upper body

1. Push the top left button on the remote control to lift the upper body
2. Press and hold until preferred height
3. Release when the bed is adjusted to the preferred height
4. Push the top right button on the remote control to lower the upper body
5. Likewise, hold until preferred height and release

Step 3: Adjust the height of the lower body

1. Push the left button in the 2nd row on the remote control to lift the lower body
2. Press and hold until preferred height
3. Release when the bed is adjusted to the preferred height
4. Push the right button in the 2nd row on the remote control to lower the lower body
5. Likewise, hold until preferred height and release

Step 4: Put down the side railing 

The side railing serves as a safety barrier for the user to prevent them from rolling or sliding off from the bed. However, it may become an obstacle for both the caregiver and the user during the transfer process. 

When the caregiver needs to transfer the user out of the bed or the user needs to get out of the bed, they can press on the red button under the cot railing (as shown in the image above) to release the safety railing to the level of the mattress. 

Once the user gets back into the bed, the railing can be easily erected by holding the handles of the railing and lifting it up until a click sound is heard. Do note that you will not need to hold on to the red button for the erection of the safety railing.
