Migratory Bird Trail

Besides discovering native wildlife like otters, crabs, water snakes and monitor lizards, visitors embarking on the Migratory Bird Trail around the Buloh Tidal Ponds can also expect to see resident birds like herons, kingfishers and sunbirds.

Resident birds can be spotted at the nature reserve all year round. For migratory bird spotting, it is recommended to visit the park between September to March.

The trail is a comfortable 2.6km in length with an elevation of 26m. On average, it takes about 29 minutes to complete the trail.

The park is open from 7am to 7pm daily. Visitors cannot enter or remain in the park after 7pm and the last entry into the park is at 6.30pm.

Getting there

The route loops around the Buloh Tidal Ponds with the start and end points of the trail being the Wetland Centre. 

The Wetland Centre is located at 301 Neo Tiew Crescent Singapore 718925.

Driving

Drivers will enjoy free parking at the nearby Neo Tiew Carpark. Do note that the carpark is gated and only opens between 7am – 7pm.

Public bus

Only on Sundays and Public Holidays, visitors can get to the Wetland Reserve by public bus service 925M.

Board Bus 925M from Kranji MRT Station and alight at the Wetland Centre entrance.
