Scenario 1: Change in pickup time

If you require a change in pickup time due to unforeseen circumstances, do let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule and come back to you as soon as we have available slot.

Appointments that are cancelled within 2 hours of the pickup might incur charges.

Scenario 2: Appointment ends late

Once you know your appointment will end late and will not be done by the given pick up time, inform us as soon as possible via a phone call at 9053 6727.

This is to allow us to reschedule and plan for our driver to pick up other clients and provide you with our next available slot for pickup. 

Yes. To increase safety for your loved ones and our driver!

Strapping on the seat belt for the wheelchair user is mandatory. We have heard of  multiple incidents that wheelchair user is flung off the wheelchair because the seat belt was not utilised.

Even though we have not have such incidents, strapping on seat belt for our wheelchair user will be mandatory to avoid unforeseen road conditions.

Discharge cases

For discharge cases, we understand that the doctor needs to see the patient first before confirming the discharge and administrative work needs to be settled before discharge time can be confirmed.

If you are in this predicament, obtain a rough discharge period from the hospital staff. For morning discharge, we will advice for you to set the pick up time at 12-1pm.

In cases where the discharge time is earlier than the booked time, do let us know as soon as possible via a phone call at 9053 6727 and our team will arrange a vehicle to pick up as soon as possible.

Appointment cases

Usually appointment takes 2-4hrs. Appointments that involve blood tests usually requires the patients to stay around to wait for the result.

How do I book a wheelchair shuttle service with Medical Assistance4u?

For new users:

  1. Fill up the form (link below) and submit your entry with the wheelchair transport details
  2. Our team will contact you with the costing to confirm purchase of an ad-hoc trip or a package
  3. After payment is made, we will contact you to confirm the details before the trip begins

For existing users:

For adhoc wheelchair transport services, our payment can be made after service via cash or paynow.

We seek everyone understanding and cooperation. As schedules are planned ahead, it is usually packed for the day.

We seek your understanding that our driver can’t wait more than 20 minutes and the wheelchair transport have to be rescheduled. Please do let us know beforehand if it’s possible to avoid extra charges.

Medical Assistance4u is the only company that supplies wheelchair transport with powerpoint electrical support onboard.

This makes is possible for us to support wheelchair transport for wheelchair users who require oxygen concentrator. 

On top of that, we also provide non-portable oxygen concentrator rental (subjected to availability).

Medical Assistance4u provide free wheelchair rental for the duration of the transport (upon request and subjected to availability).

Discharge cases

If the client can stand with assistance, we strongly recommend the user to meet us up at pick up point in a hospital wheelchair. Our driver will arrive with a wheelchair from the company for the client to use.

If the client is unable to stand even with assistance, the caregiver will be asked to be present at the pickup point to pick up the wheelchair from the driver to help the user onto the wheelchair proved.

There will be a 15 minutes of waiting time. If the waiting time exceeds 15 minutes, there will be a waiting charge of $10. If our driver have another booking to attend to, we will have to rearrange the pick up.


No for most cases, only for cases where the driver arrived before the cancellation is made.

In cases where the transport needs to be cancelled after the driver arrived due to sickness or trauma injury, we don’t charge for cancellation fee. We would like to offer to send the user to hospital (if needed).

We accept last min book (subjected to availability) via phone call at 9053 6727.

We will arrange for the fastest vehicle to head towards the pickup point. There will be no additional charges but the waiting time is minimally 30min (travel time).

Yes, just let our Admin know via phone at 9053 6727 where would you like us to pick up your loved one as soon as possible. We strongly support senior to go for a walk.

Changes made only after the driver arrives might incur charges.
