There are 2 types of walking frames to choose from:

  1. Dual support walking frame

    Dual support walking frame is designed to provide a 2-step support and it’s great for users who are weaker in muscle strength. It has 4 grip pads, 2 at a lower level for users to utilise it to push themselves to a standing position. The other 2 is designed to be at a comfortable position for the user to hold when they are standing up.

  2. Walking frame

    Normal walking frames have 2 grip pads that are situated at a comfortable position for the user to hold on to when they are in a standing position.

Walking aids are mobility assistive tools that provide support for individuals who requires additional support while walking.

Walking sticks generally come with a single base and is used to support the weaker side. It is suitable for use outdoors due to its small size and single base characteristic, making it easy for users to use it to climb stairs.

Walking frames has 4 main legs and 2 parallel grab pads, providing balanced support for the user. It is suitable for indoor use as it is larger in structure, normally used only on flat grounds.
