Hospital Mattresses are designed specifically for hospital beds. There are 4 folds that allows the mattress to change the shape of the mattress so it fits snuggly with the hospital bed when it lifts the bed user’s lower and upper body.
The generic hospital mattress is suitable for both electric and manual 2-function and 3-function hospital beds. Mattress for 5-function hospital beds are different as it also have a fold down the middle of the mattress, allowing the mattress to fit the 5-function hospital bed when either side of the frame is adjusted to turn the user on their side.
