Wet wipes are non-woven disposable fabric, also commonly known as moist wipes or towelettes. 

Wet wipes are used for one-time cleaning for convenience and hygienic purposes.

Body wipes usually have a milder cleansing solution to be friendly on skins, even sensitive skins. Surface wipes usually have a stronger cleaning solution, ranging from 70%-90% alcohol content, as they are usually used for surface disinfection.

Wet wipes are great for convenience and hygiene. 

There are various types of wet wipes available in the market. The choice of wet wipes and its usefulness is dependent on what you are using it for. 

For example, if you are looking to disinfect tables at coffeeshop, it will be recommended to use surface wipes with high alcohol content (70%-90%). Another example will be if you are looking for body wipes for infants or elderly, it is recommended to use body wipes with mild cleansing content, which usually means low or no alcohol content.

There are specific intimate wipes for private areas, like Lactacyd Feminine Wipes. Using unsuitable wipes, e.g. alcoholic wipes, can increase sensitivity in the intimate areas, causing issues like rashes.

Some baby wipes that do not have alcohol content might be suitable for intimate areas, do check with your doctor before using.
